I have a dumb body, y'all. A lot of people can just see something and do it themselves but I have to break it down into little pieces and think through it. And then repeat it over and over until my muscles figure it out. That means I'm the obnoxious weirdo in practice who's staring at other skaters and having them do things very slowly while I ask questions like, "How much of your weight is on your left foot?" "What angle are you facing?" "Is the shoulder in their rib or solar plexus??"

I deeply appreciate my leaguemates humouring me
