My derby wife and I (remember her?) go trail skating often and one of the things we like to do is try different trails out. Skating on unfamiliar ground can be pretty dicey - you don't know where the obstruction and terrain changes are. So we hit the occasional unexpected rough terrain or a lip in the pavement and I'll have to do a whole two inch hop to clear it and every time I turn around and ask if she saw my hop. She's always very impressed :P

Sometimes I don't make and that's why she carries a first aid kit.
